Richard Miller is Co-founder, Partner and Head Instructor of Miller Dance Studios.
Richard’s passion for dance began when he was 10 years old. Since then it has flourished and created for him and his family Norfolk’s premier Ballroom & Latin Dance Studios.
Along with his wife and dance partner, Lynn and with help from many international trainers they became over a short period of time, East Anglian Champions many times over. Later to also take on the mantle of National champions and European Cup Winners with Honours.
Richard is also an adjudicator and provides music for many of the major dance competitions and events around the UK. He also worked previously, for many years, until recently, for DSI London, the main costume designers and manufacturers for BBCs Strictly Come Dancing and the dance industry. He previously hosted the DSI TV channel. Also, along with Lynn ,his wife and co partner, is a regular, on BBC Radio Norfolk as their dance expert and commenting and blogging on the BBC’s successful dance programme ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
And if that’s not enough, Richard has also created, with help from his wife Lynn, The Miller Dance System! Something we are very proud of here at the Studios.

Lynn Miller

Lynn took her first dancing steps at the age of 5 attending Ballroom & Latin dance classes at a local dance school close to where she was living. After being truly bitten by the dancing bug, Lynn, a few years later, took up disco dance lessons amongst others but eventually took her dance exams in her original love of Ballroom & Latin.
After teaming up with Richard a while later, they travelled together extensively, learning from the best and entering semi-pro competitions. After a very successful rise to the top of both the East Anglian and European scene, with numerous trophies to boot, Lynn and Richard soon decided to start their own dance studio with the intention of introducing youngsters a new and exciting hobby.
Lynn loves working with the children and seeing them grow and expand with confidence. She is great a putting people at ease and is very much at home teaching both newcomers with zero experience to somebody who is very serious about achieving their ultimate goal and competing.
Lynn is also a very proud mum and puts many hours of hard work into helping their son, Luke, achieve his dream as a professional dancer – one dream that we all think is well and truly on its way to being completed. As Lynn and Richard have said, “we are extremely proud of our son and his achievements, both as a dancer and as a man”.
Luke Miller
Partner at Miller Dance Studios
Luke Miller has been a competitive dancer and a former U16 British and World Ballroom and Latin Champion. In 2014 at the British Nationals and with his partner, Laura Robinson, Luke became the British number two U21 Latin Champion – an amazing achievement considering these exciting and fastest rising Latin stars had only been dancing together for six months. Luke and Laura are also currently placed 5th in the World.
Like his parents, Luke began his career at the age of 5 and since then his passion for Ballroom and Latin dancing has taken him from one stage to another including giving demonstrations for various dance schools and organizations in the UK and Worldwide. At a very young age, Luke even appeared on TV shows like Britain´s Got Talent and the ever so popular dance show, Strictly Come Dancing! He has recently appeared on the NTA National Television awards with Shirlley Ballas, Head Judge on Strictly, and world renowned coach, aswell as partnering Shirley, at the Liverpool Empire Pantomime ‘Jack & The Beanstalk’ in 2018.
Luke is currently touring with the World renowned ‘Burn The Floor, sensation all around the World. He is also touring in the UK with the Company.
In 2022, Luke will be joining the cast on Strictly’s Giovanni’s Live tour in the UK. If that’s not enough he is also a qualified Fit-Steps instructor – a new dance class combining Latin dancing with cardio-vascular exercises.
Julie Clements
Administration at Miller Dance Studios
Julie has been part of our admin team since 1997 and like every single one of our team, she is an invaluable member and makes the everyday running of the office a piece of cake.
Julie, like all our team members is passionate about Ballroom and Latin dancing and along with her husband she regularly attends our events and enjoys the community and friendly atmosphere at the Miller Dance Studios.
When you phone, Julie will undoubtedly be the voice at the end of the line giving you all the info you need to get you started and more than likely one of the friendly faces you will encounter when you step through our doors!
